Hi! Every one hope u all have nice weekend

Finally i'm going to upload my Birthday card
one of the reasons why i upload it late that what happen to my friend Mimin
when some one stole his work!!

i use ORYX in the design

ORYX was the Talisman or Logo of the 15th Asian game 2006 in Doha Qatar...

the Picture i use it as reference was ORYX Ads picture..



this is my sketch... i know its drawing not well but i just draw the idea


I use here the Pen tool to draw Our friend ORYX :)


I put each part of his body in one layer so it's become much easier when i'm going to edit it later.
This when i had done from drawing ORYX

After than i color it with same color that was in the reference picture



I use two tools here
1/ Live paint Bucket to color the black and red and some places that doesn't have a lot of color
2/ eyedropper tool to color the legs hands and the head so its easy to color it together same color
than it become like this
soo cute :D
the problem the drawing was to simple .. i mean no action on it ... the lines to normal so I add some lines from the brushes i try different type of lines ..

now I think is much better than before :D



I also add balloons to make the card more interesting and the picture on the right side is the reference ...
i draw five Balloons with different color ..

Here i use Mesh tool to color the Balloons to give's it 3d color.. <<NOW we come to the background and i start it with a line that i draw it from line segment tool and i Add the Distort & Tranform >>>Transform Effect to make the line become like this ...
than i add Brushes on the lines and bring our friend ORYX to the background ...

we can see the background become two color bright and dark blue color..

one more time i use Mesh tool to give the background that color.. :D


I didn't like the line in the meddle because its too normal so i add two effect
1/: Distort & Tranform>>> Zig Zag to make it like Zig Zag..
2/:3d >>>Extrude & Bevel effect to make the line 3D..


Here i use the pen tool to draw a background for ORYX to show him standing on some thing



And after that i color it with same color but i play with the bright thing for it to be a Lettie bit different from transparency and put it Screen..

Because ORYX is from Qatar so i add this shape to make QATAR flag as we see .. 0.O
Now we come to the writing thing :D its my fav part
i write ORYX and copy it to make it like 3d than i copy it one more time and add the Sketch >>> Water Paper Effect and put all the 3 copy together with some moving to become 3d

After that i add some symbols to give the card party effect ;)

2006 Asian Games

The 15th Asian Games, officially known as the XV Asiad, is Asia's Olympic-style sporting event that was held in Doha, Qatar from December 1 to December 15, 2006. Doha was the first city in its region and only the second in West Asia to host the games. There were 46 disciplines from 39 events scheduled to be contested.

Oryx is one of three or four large antelope species of the genus Oryx,
typically having long straight almost upright or swept back horns. Two or
three of the species are native to Africa, with a fourth native to the
Arabian Peninsula. Small populations of several oryx species, such as the
"Scimitar Oryx", exist in Texas and New Mexico, USA as captive populations
on wild game ranches.


he Arabian Oryx (Oryx leucoryx), the smallest species, became extinct in the wild in 1972 from the Arabian Peninsula. It was reintroduced in 1982 in Oman but poaching has had negative effects. Further populations have been reintroduced in Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, with a total population in the wild of about 886 in 2003. About 600 more are in captivity.
The Scimitar Oryx, also called Scimitar-horned Oryx (Oryx dammah) of North Africa is now possibly extinct in the wild. However, there are unconfirmed reports of surviving populations in central Niger and Chad, and a population currently inhabiting a fenced nature reserve in Tunisia is being expanded for reintroduction to the wild in that country.



The East African Oryx inhabits eastern Africa, and the closely-related Gemsbok inhabits all of eastern and southern Africa. Both are considered threatened species. Between 1969 and 1977, the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish released 93 Gemsbok into the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico and that population is now estimated at about 1,700 animals. The classification of these two animals varies between experts. One system has the Gemsbok as one species (Oryx gazella), and the East African Oryx as another (Oryx beisa) with two subspecies of its own, the East African Oryx "proper" (Oryx beisa beisa) and the Fringe-eared oryx (Oryx beisa calliotis). The other system has one Oryx gazella species, with three subspecies: Oryx gazella gazella, Oryx gazella beisa, and Oryx gazella calliotis.

I made the Calendar with September month because Ramadan and Eid Al fitr are in september

Ramadan is holy month for Muslims around the world so the Calendar have to presenting that holy thing on it, for example the Mosque and Praying .

i draw this man and the mosque, that is my sketch before I start to design it on AI

STARBUCKS COFFEE LOGO

hello, after i chose StarBucks logo and what can i do with it to make it in malaysian culture, i started to made it on AI.

First i draw the Tower and the moon by the tools i used for drawing moon 2 circle put it togather and cut it to be like moon and about th tower i used the Square and change the size to be like this

About the body i draw from the tools a big circle and make the outside line big to be like this n put it empty color from inside.

about the red lines i draw one red line and copy pase it than i Arrange it and make it one group.

the star in malaysian flag have 14 zic zac so i chose the star tool than press once on the page to see the seting and i change the number from 4 to 14 to be like this.

After that i put it all togather and change with layers . i put the lines layer in the back and the moon, star in the top.

than i add the words STARBUCKS COFFE and edit it. i also add some effect to be like this >>
